It wouldn't cost anything near that to upgrade the internal HD. Nintendo is just being really cheap at the expense of it's consumers and third party devs to be honest. It could just release a SKU with a better HD for the ones who want more space and for the ones who want to play 3rd party games. How is cost a terrible excuse? Internal flash memory for portable devices is expensive it's one reason iPhones cost around 800 quid plus and they don't have anywhere near what non portable devices have, you can't put HDDs in portable devices mate and incase you haven't noticed Switch has a portable form factor. Are you willing to pay 400-500 quid for a switch with more memory?
