Crash debuted with a 100k more than Splatoon 2 worldwide, but eh it's understandable. Splatoon 2 will have those nice sexy Bayonetta legs. Congrats to Splatoon 2 and Switch!

I didn't even notice the Switch had the top spot until I read your post. Guess I'm just used to seeing the PS4 at #1.

Splatoon 2 is surprisingly Japan heavy with its sales. The IP has clearly increased in popularity as its first week sales are much higher everywhere compared to the first game, but the main difference between the two is Japan by quite a wide margin. The first week sales rose by nearly 700k between the two games, but over 500k of that difference is in Japan.
