I personally put it down, but I don't mind at all if people leave it up. I never understood how anybody gets so angry over this, feels like they are just unhappy with their life and use an excuse to vent.

Nah, to me it's just gross. Especially flushing with the seat up. In addition to that, I have sort of a perfectionist ocd personality. Things have to look a certain way before I leave it or present it. It's just stuck with me ever since I was a kid. It's beneficial at times and not at times.

I hate it when they leave it down. It only takes 1 second to put it back up.

No...? It's never been a problem for me. It's actually more convenient for it to be up, since I do no. 1 more often, and if I need to move it, I just move it. You wash your hands after your do your business, so what's the problem..?

The cover. Why would you want to see in to the toilet? Even if it's clean I'd rather not see in to it. Plus there's the risk of things falling in to the toilet. Thankfully I haven't done it for years, but I once dropped my toothbrush in the toilet! Wouldn't have happened if the cover was down though.

Lol I think that would have been one of the most appropriate moments to yell out something along the lines of "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I always put it down as well! Just out of habit I suppose, but given the active choice, I would too xD
