Are there any games, coming out this year, that you are just sick of seeing and hearing about? You know, the usual batch of undeserved sequels, and overhyped nonsense. The type of games that the local GameStop employee will try to get you to pre-order. The games that have an ad on every website. The games that will be forgotten by this time next year, and will have left a million salty customers in their wake. 

Well good news! This thread is to complain about those games! No game is off limits. Tell us why you think your game doesn't deserve to see the light of day. 

I'll start. 

Star Wars Battlefront II: A sequel to an unfinished mess of a game. Do they really expect people to buy this after being burned just a few years ago? 

CoD WWII: Call of Duty hasn't been good in six or seven years. Most of the talent, behind CoD moved on to Titanfall years ago. 

Destiny 2: Bungie is under contract to finish this game at a set release date or else they lose half the profits to Activision. The game doesn't have dedicated servers. There's already DLC planned. Destiny 1 was an unbalanced mess. IMO Bungie should go back to making games where you can't choose between a thousand different armor options and loadouts. 

I don't get that worked up over games that I want them to fail. They're either going to sell well, or they're not.

No, not really. I'm disinterested in a lot of games out there but I don't want them to fail. I'm glad the needs of other fans are being met.

I do wish there were more games from developers and genres I like, but I wouldn't wish others to disappear — unless the only way to secure those favored games would be for other projects to end.

That said, if some cynical or distasteful business practices blow up in a few choice faces, I wouldn't mind.

I want the games I like to be very succesful, that's it, the rest can sell 15 milions or 15 copies for all I care

Other than the three games you named, I don't think there will be any games releasing this year that will probably get much more sales than they deserve.

I want MvC4 to fail. I WANT to see it fail.

I hate hearing so much about certain games like Overwatch and Splatoon 2, but I don't want them to fail

That's unfortunately a given. 1 billion units is much more realistic.

I hope that every game without a decent SP campaign or story mode fails. Except when it is a party game. I hate online only games and I don't want them to be a new standard, same goes for always online required games.
