Here's an additional 5 minutes of footage for New Snap. Unfortunately it's just Japanese with no subtitles, but either way still an interesting preview.

The Great Ace Attorney coming to Switch on July 27th!

Curious, a friend recommended this franchise to me last week, and I said I was going to look forward it. He only played the DS games though, is the gameplay similar?

Honestly I haven't played any of these games, I just wanted to post the news here for the people interested.

I can't speak to these games specifically, but the general gameplay mechanics of Ace Attorney are pretty much consistent throughout the whole series. The games are basically an interactive visual novel where you collect evidence/speak to witnesses in the field, then utilize what you've found during the trials. I imagine these games will cover the same bases, just in a historical Japanese setting.

Regarding the Poll, while New Pokemon Snap looks like a well made game for what it is, it's just not my personal cup of tea.

I hope it does well though, and I can even see it being a mild system seller due to the immense nostalgic draw of the N64 original and the cult status it has attained.

Yeah I don't expect it's a game for everyone, but as someone who played the original on N64 it's been something I've been looking forward to for a while. It seems like a good game to have a demo of eventually so people unsure of the gameplay concept can give it a try. Maybe Bandai will consider sometime in the future.

Yeah a lot of people seem hyped for it, those who played the original game as kids, it's a game people have been asking for for a very long time.

I'm kinda expecting them to add LABO camera and LABO VR support at some point haha, it makes so much sense for it.

im really excited for The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. i hope that the physical version doesn't have a digital code because capcom (bad publisher) has a habit of doing that sometimes (habit: a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up example: my uncle beating me). i need to finish AA2 and AA3 beforehand but i got frustrated because they (bad developer) took out the ability to start from a specific point in a case from the switch version, so when i softlocked myself from the shitty circus (bad game design) it meant that i had to restart the entire case over again and im just too lazy (bad genes) to deal with (bad writing).

but i hope crapcom steps up their game

Investors report should be very soon.
