Yeah, direct definitely shelved. Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn release date announced, March 8th.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

We're getting a Direct live on Twitter, lol. Nintendo continues to be one step ahead of everyone xD

We are?

It's a joke, they announced a release date for Yoshi's Crafted World and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn in the last few hours.

So the file size of Yoshi's Crafted World, at launch, is almost the same as that of Mario Odyssey, and is bigger than a lot of other Switch 1st parties. I'm assuming that the game either has a shit ton of levels, or the audio isn't as compressed, or that the textures are more detailed? Then again a lot of 1st party games ended up needing updates to bring more content to the games later on, but still.

It makes me very curious as to how much content is in the game ... hopefully a lot!

Yeah looks like no January Direct, the last 24 hours have seen several announcements that would've been in one if it was happening.

I got what I wanted (release date for Yoshi) so I don't mind.

If it doesnt get announced in the next couple hours then its a NO?

Mario+Rabbids Gold Edition is currently on sale on the eShop for $36 CDN (regular price is $110). This is clearly a fantastic deal, but my question is to those who played the game, is it really as good as I've heard? The thought of giving Ubisoft money upsets me.

More release dates announced through Twitter - Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD coming April 16th, with Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age launching on April 30th (at least in the States - I haven't seen Nintendo of Europe announce this yet).

I'm hoping they get IX out on the eShop in February or March - I did VI and VII a couple of years ago and III and IV the year before that (and have only ever played IV through IX), and IX is one of my favourites. Really looking forward to trying X and XII for the first time.
