Is the Luigi's Mansion remake for the 3DS just digital? I've been trying to rummage through some sites for a physical copy but I haven't been able to find any.

Might depend on where you're ordering from. I can find it physical on Best Buy and Targets websites in the US.

I looked for it in the UK, seems like Nintendo sells it directly from their UK store: https://m.store.nintendo.co.uk/nintendo-3ds-games/luigi-s-mansion-nintendo-3ds/11858228.html

Ugh, thanks. I'm actually ordering from Brazil, it seems like none of our sellers has imported it. Guess I'll have to go digital with this one. :(

Think I'll pick up Onimusha next month been a long time since I played that game.

Holy crap! World of Light just drags on and on! Like seriously, i've done close to 400 Spirit battles and i've been avoiding a decent amount of them. I was good with it lasting MAYBE 10 hours but it still looks like I have a ways to go. My reaction to Galeem not being the final boss and having another world to go through was nothing less than utter shock and dread...

If the mode wasn't just battles over and over again it'd be tolerable but as is, it's just way to tedious and repetitive, especially for someone like me that has already completed classic and unlocked all characters. The only things I have to look forward to in the mode (at least that i'm aware of) are unlocking the menu music and getting songs that apparently only appear in this mode. If they were going to do an adventure mode their needs to be something like a platforming segment, or hell, just gimme some beautiful cutscenes to look at. At least then I would have some eye porn to keep me distracted from the monotony of these fights. I'm sitting here bored out of my mind just trying to get through this, the only thing stopping me from just giving up is the fact that I seemingly need to do this to get some of the songs and the menu music.

I'm gonna be REALLY pissed if this new guy is not the final boss!

It does drag a bit, yeah, and the worst of it is exactly where you're at. It gets better shortly after with some really cool bosses (though you've already got those spoiled from Classic mode), but the ending is worth it gameplay-wise - story, eh, whatever, don't expect anything too awesome.

Yeah, outside of Marx the upcoming boss fights are pretty decent for me but having experienced all boss fights in classic mode definitely hurts this mode. They become a cake-walk, I mean if i'm able to defeat a majority of these bosses on 9.0+ difficulty with characters I don't play, then I have no problem doing so with access to my favorite character on top of being able to apply buffs to him. It definitely makes the boss fights rather dull for me...

Seems the Tales games may very well hit all platforms going forward.

Okay, i'll admit, playing as Master Hand was really fun and definitely worth some of the hassle to get to it and the ending sequence was really good, ascending to the final battle ground, a boss rush (i love me a good boss rush) and an epic encounter with Dharkon and Galeem. I'll hand it to Sakurai, he does come up with really awesome final bosses. However, the mode lasted about 5-10 hours too long imo (ended with 16 hours) for what it is. It's basically just redone event mode and while I loved Melee's event mode and liked Brawl's, I wouldn't really like to play through a full campaign's worth of those events. I'm cool with 51 or so matches but not freaking 502 (and I didn't even do all of them), before I even beat Galeem the first time I was pretty much checked out. I think this might be one of the cases of having too much content resulting in this mode being a little poor. Cut the fat in the middle and i'd say this was a pretty good time unfortunately someone thought it was a good idea to have 2 (3 kinda) long parts to the campaign. It's better than anything in Smash 4 but not as good as Brawl and even Melee's adventure mode imo.

I really enjoyed Classic mode though. I think they even topped Melee's with that. I wouldn't mind doing a bit of Classic again so it kind of evens out, I guess.

Love how this has come full circle.

Happy new year from Philippines!!! Currently on a Vacation. I can feel 2019 will be my most favourite Switch Year if all things go well! With FE, AC and the New Pokemon.
