Forums - Gaming Discussion - A good example of why Sony Consoles always succeed.

So true.

Other that some of those great Nintendo IPs, I honestly can't think of too many great games I have missed by being a PlayStation gamer other these many years.

I'm an adult now and can afford any console if I wanted, but honestly I don't feel like I need to. I can see the value the PC and the XBox platforms can provide to the industry, but if one person is short of money and can only back up one console per generation, I will totally recommend PlayStation over and over again.

PS3 era Playstation was pretentious Playstation. And they're still at it now with their story telling nonsense. I loved it back in the PS1/2 days where they were cool and actually dominated and made games for being games and not B movies. OP is one of those brainwashed Sony drones who probably thinks Detroit will be better than Bloodborne or some shit.

I miss gamey games, which is probably why I love Nintendo far more than Sony as developers despite thinking Playstation consoles are the best.

Warning ~ CGI

PS3 and Vita aren't successes.

Price over any platform but Playstation?, even if you can find cheaper alternatives?.

You can see the value of the other twoa s you say, but it sounds like there is no value when you put pocket change into the equation.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

The reason why third parties go on dony and not nintenso is because on nintendo they get overshadowed by first party titles.

This is actually very interesting

ES Oblivion- released on Xbox360/PC in 2006, the PS3 released 1 year later in 2007
Bioshock- was released on Xbox360/PC in 2007, the PS3 released 1 year later in 2008
Fallout 3- sales were higher on Xbox360 and this pushed a lot of sales for MS.
Red Dead Redemption- sales are roughly tied with Xbox360, poor HD and FR issues were what hurt the PS3 version of the game.
ES Skyrim- sales were higher on Xbox360, PS3 version was considered the worst of all 3 systems and was constantly broken.
The Walking Dead- in 2012 actually sold more on iOS than any other system and was a huge push on mobile gaming. PS3/Xbox360 were roughly tied in sales.
Overwatch- crushed the competition in 2016 and PC is the number one selling platform over both consoles.

Everything else I will agree on though. :)

I dont think any of this matters, the point is that all these games are on Playstation platforms.

I think Nintendo will win this year with Legend of Zelda, i think it could actually be somewhat close with Horizon but Zelda will definitley win as a result of Red Dead 2 getting delayed.

yep, a good reminder of why third party support is really important

Especially when your first party output is so weak and narrow like Nintendo's.

What was it then? Certainly not 3D World

Why not? It was certainly very well received, I think a lot of people (if not most) would consider it a superior game.

My personal favorite would be Pokémon X & Y, but I understand why that wouldn't be a widely accepted pick.

I absolutely adore X & Y, and 3D World also even though I let it seem like I didn't care, but Link Between Worlds was such an experience. Compelling music, addictive character and lovely gameplay mechanics.
