I'll be astounded if Prime 4 releases before 2019.
If it was that far along, the reveal trailer would have shown more than just a logo.

Lol, no worries, I was making a joke back at you :p |
I'd never played a pokemon title before so it sounded like a reasonable mechanic to me.
Edit: I know that sounds like blasphemy as highly regarded as the series is but I've heard there is too much water in some of them.
I don't believe for a moment that either game will be 2018. Unless Metroid is well into development, I don't see either game releasing next year.
Dance my pretties!

Who said they have just logo (or less) done!? Fact that they showed just logo doesnt means anything, for Pokemon they did not show even logo, but they confirmed they are working on game.

The Legend of Zelda for Wii U, coming in 2015! :P

GamesBeat: For the rest of the year, what’s the big message? Obviously Mario, but is there anything else?
Charlie Scibetta: Games. If you want to be able to play games and not have a dry spell between any of the big launches, we think Nintendo Switch is a good place to be. We have a nice drumbeat of first and third party. You’ll never have to wait long.
Just as you get through a game and you’re starting to put your head up, put the periscope out to see what else is out there, hopefully we’ll have something right there for you. We’ve announced a nice lineup through this year, and next year we have some big games coming with Metroid 4. 2018 [Ed’s note: Nintendo clarified later that Scibetta meant “2018 and beyond” here] will be around Metroid, Kirby, Yoshi, and a new Pokemon game has been announced. We feel good about the lineup for this year and beyond.
Nintendo themselves have been quick to deny the claims of their PR guy. They are not guaranteed for 2018.
Please excuse my bad English.
Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070
Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

And for the quality sake of both games, thank Christ.

well if Prime 4 had a logo and Pokémon was "Yes, it is coming".
It isn't just a year. but 15/16 months production. for October/November release.
It is possible... but unless Pokémon is a Stars moon/sun + Ultrasun/Ultramoon. they are milking the franchise too much....
Prime4 is still very possible.
Switch!!!
