Ah, okay, I thought you meant the game itself.

Yeah, no physical release in NA and no marketing was pretty lame. I wish Nintendo had more faith in games that aren't E-rated.

Isn't Civ 4X rather than grand strategy? And it has happened since the SNES, Civilization Revolution released on PS3/360/DS and it's sequel released on Vita.

Switch does actually have a couple grand strategy games though, Nobunaga's Ambition and Romance of the Three Kingdoms are grand strategy

Having one game of each genre doesn't cut it when it comes to genre diversity. Not judging the Switch, because it's still a young platform, just saying that this thread is odd...

XCOM is nothing like those games though. That's more turn based tactics/strategy, which I believe is much closer to Fire Emblem than Civ, right?

From its launch to now, the Switch has 62 games (by my counting) from the wiki list, that are released for it.

They have:
Party, rpg, racing, kart racing, rythme,action-adventure,action-platformer,puzzle,action, platformer, fighter, shoot'em up, roguelike, sports, simulation,boardgame,strategy, action-puzzle, sandbox, rythme-horror, tRPG.

Missing genre's : turnbased rpg? Action-rpgs? Horror, FPS, 3rdPS, Mobas? MMOs/MMORPGs?

genre miss-represented most : rpgs (imo) (can never have to many)

I think nearly 90% of the games shouldn't even be counted as there mostly really old neo Geo games. It's one and only proper Platformer is very non traditional ( Snake pass). The games will come eventually though. One genre I haven't seen any evidence off though is a Racing Sim, or a proper FPS. This need rectifying immediately for the cause
of genre diversity.

A true RTS
