That first infographic is not official. Nor does it use any official numbers.

1. Source seems to be Wikipedia, which in turn seems to be sourcing from here

It's from Microsoft's House of Fans program, whatever the fuck that is.

But yeah, it looks like the numbers used in these infographics are directly pulled from the French Xbox One Wikipedia page, which in turn claims they're from here (although they don't match up). Both the Xbox One sold numbers and Black Ops 3 being the best selling Xbox One game with 11.3mil copies sold matches up with the Wikipedia page.

Thought this nonsense would wind up here. I am almost starting to think MS so this deliberately, there was some capture of a slide show last year with seemingly inflated numbers. And it fools people too, the X1 subreddit just takes it as fact. EA predicted 26m at the end of last year. It is outselling the PD4 by 50% now? Where are all these sales coming from?

The Japan figure is a straight up lie too, it's 80k LTD and they have it at 150k

This is already confirmed fake on NeoGAF. The source for the 36.2 mill comes from Wikipedia, which then goes on to cite vgchartz own numbers.
