Seeing how many young people on this forum actually defend this decision makes me kind a sad. The US had to pay a shit load of money to get cleaner since energy efficiency isn't known in the US. Just look at the tonnes of CO2 per capita and compare that to Germany or Japan which rely on industry a lot more than the USA. I also don't get the hate for China in this case. At this moment China is actually investing in green energy and making everything cleaner. It's also an enormous productive country if anything it's amazing it took as long as it did for China to be the biggest polluter. If the Paris Agreement are the goals a country has it should invest in a circular and energy efficient economy. Take Denmark for instance, if you produce industrial heat in Denmark you are forced to reuse it. Saving energy, make a transition to a new industry based on refining biological products instead of fossil ones and producing sustainable energy to make it al running is what Europe is putting it's money on. At this moment energy conversion seems to be a problem which needs solving but even ghe first industrial hydrogen plants that convert electricity in hydrogen are being planned in Rotterdam. Saying no to climate change and becoming more sustainable will set the US miles back when it comes to innovation and will stall the economy eventually. But by that time Trump is grabbing his wife by the pussy yet again.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Keep in mind, it was the US who voted this guy in. I assume everyone in the US who voted is well educated and qualified to select the leaders of their own country. Analyzing the available data, and voting based on policy legislation with logical positive outcomes to the data.

I can't imagine that many Americans voting based on a bunch of random stupid nonsense with the faith that it will have some illogically positive outcome like, I don't know, "make America great again!"

This is all extremely sarcastic, right?

It's not about being a savior. This is what's wrong with discussing Trump with people who have an emotionally charged opinion against him.

The deal required the US to cut emissions -  fine.
The deal also required America to fund developing countries infrastructure to change into green energy - issue: America would use ta payer dollars to fund projects around the world all while reducing our economic output at home to meet these requirements.
India and China are two of those developing countries that would receive billions from the US to upgrade their infrastructure; oh and NEITHER have any requirement to cut any emissions even though China is the world’s largest polluting entity and India's rate of increase in Co2 emissions will have it surpass the US by 2020 - WTF?! No!

This deal does nothing for the environment outside of make the US pay for a stimulus around the world while punishing it which would impact low and middle income communities more than anyone else in this country. If you cannot see how God awful this deal is, then not only are you intellectually dishonest but blind as a bat.

He stated he wanted to renegociate the deal. The EU said no. If this was really about the evnironment and not pollitics everyone would be eager to renegociate to ensure everyone is in agreement.

Our costs are $3 billion in foreign aid by 2020.   Yep, just $3 billion.  We're pulling out of the Paris Agreement over $3 billion.  We already spend $50 billion on foreign aid every single year.  And no, none of it goes to China.

And the agreement does absolutely nothing to cut our own economic output.  In fact, it increases it.

Stop watching Fox News.  You are being used and lied to.  How does that make you feel that you are being lied to and used?

Right, and India and China (the 1st and 3rd largest sources of carbon emissions) would be allowed to increase coal production till 2030, and even after that time period wouldn't have to attempt to cut emissions till at least 2030. Lets not act like this deal was "fair".

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

1) hes in a position of power to change things, so we arnt as much of a problem as trump is in this matter.

2) hes got many houses, cars, flys all over the place, takes a golf caddy instead of walking a short walk (when he was in europe).

3) youre wrong, about our current life style needing to change, to effect global enviroment. There are cleaner ways to do things.

1) The 330 million Americans have a little more power than Trump, lol.

2) Americans have 100's of millions of houses, cars, Americans fly all over the country/world every MINUTE, golfers all over the country are driving golf caddies instead of walking a short walk.

3) You're right, our current lifestyle doesn't need to change, just Trumps. Logic.

1) your wrong. Those 330m probably cant make as big a impact as law changes could. From the top you can force change for the better.

2) all together yes, what I ment was a reply to the orginal message. My point was trump probably polutes more than avg joe smuck.

3) Not just trumps, no need to put words in my mouth. My point was we can live as we currently do, while poluteing less.

I did smile at this.  You cannot make an argument without assuming something of me. Outside of not being a fan of any network news it's not difficult whatsoever to find the agreement and read it yourself. A deal which doesn't address the largest and fastest growing polluters while having us assist in funding their green upgrades while not even imposing reductions from the those reciving funds. And we're supposed to believe this is anything other than a political agreement because it sure isn't one that puts the environment at the forefront.

Oh and either you're lying to me or yourself regarding the fact that money from the Green Climate fund will not go to China.

1) Well that is one ironic statement. Those 330 million people can't make as big a impact as law changes could? The laws are there BECAUSE of people and how much power they have. You can force change? All this time I thought we lived in a democracy. Such ignorance I have! Besides, what's Trump gonna do, ban McDonalds and oil companies and fund better agricultural methods? Good luck, sir.

2) Trump pollutes more than the average person. I'd assume so since he has the means to do so. 95% of others do the exact same thing. Look at Leonardo DiCaprio who is an environmentalist who arrives at meetings in his private plane. I don't like Trump but at least he's not hiding it.

3) But the vast majority of people don't live environmentally friendly so and you want him to be like us? I guess so...

It's not hyperbole. The actions this guy is taking means countless people will die in the future. I consider that infamy in the level of Hitler.
