Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft giving away Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition for free!

From what I hear it is free for those who have bought the original.

Thank you Microsoft.

Oh yeah, I forgot all about the Definitive Edition!! I'll be sure to pick that up if I ever get an XB1. It's cool that previous owners of the game will get it for free.

Awesome thanks for sharing!

Nice for all of those who still want to play. Lets hope they bring it down to $9.99 on a sale so most gamers can get their hands on it before a sequel is produced.

Thread title is a tiny bit misleading. Considering the considerable preconditions like owning an Xbox and having bought the original.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I was about to get so upset, considering I just bought the game, then the contents of the actual post calmed me. Change the thread name.

Gamertag, PlayStation Network ID, and Nintendo Network ID: Look at username. Huzzah for originality.  3DS Friend Code: 4038-6546-0886

Currently own PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, Switch, and 3DS

How else would they give it away?

If it wasn't free, it would be called selling.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

One of the most pleasant gaming experiences I've EVER had. Goddammit, this game was so good I'm angry.
