FFXV? Really?! REALLY?!. Worst game for your example. Not even watching for the thumbnail alone.

Yakuza Zero is amazing. The story and bossfights are incridible > all west-games this year.
Persona 5 is the perfect rpg. Story, Gameplay, Characters, Atmosphere, Dialoges >>> Witcher 3
FF15 is... not a good game. The open world is big, but only 4-5 cutscenes..boring -.-
Ni-Oh is good. Perfect game for Samurai-and Dark Souls/Bloodborne-Fans/Player.

Nier Automata is really cool, very good !!! Thats why - yes, japanese games > westgames.

But on PS4 coming all important games from the west and japan this year. all Player are happy :)

On the contrary, a game that was developed and changed so much, FFXV actually came out a success in many ways unlike say...Duke Nukem Forever.

FFXV is the new FFXIII though so the reactions make sense on the small confines of the internet.

I disagree. If Final Fantasy XV was able to break even with its day 1 shipment, they managed to keep costs low for dev cycle that long. Even if the current state of XV was only worked on for 4 years, they still had the pay the artists and writers for the 6 years before it.

Yes and no , You have people who are paid a yearly salary and are considered staff and then you have a large amount of contractors and sub contractors who only get paid for contracted work , plus even in an industry where complaints about working conditions is common, Japanese studios are notorious especially around crunch time , it's not hard to find pictures of rows of workstations with sleeping bags piled under every single one.



Research shows Video games  help make you smarter, so why am I an idiot
