I buy more Nintendo product than likely anyone on this board, but I haven't liked their business decisions of late and I'm honest in stating that. I am pro-Nintendo generally.

And yes, sure. MS should consider putting some games on Switch. I wouldn't mind a Rare Replay or Halo 1/2/3 ports.

Imo halo should be only xbox, not even PC. I'd buy a xbox just for halo and I know many people that would do the same.

You can love Nintendo and still be critical. TheAngryJoeShow loves Nintendo, but they still hate their youtube policies.

Excluding the trolls, I am pretty sure everyone wants the big 3 to succeed. Unfortunately, they sometimes make idiotic mistakes

Not quite. A lot of the people purchasing Grand Theft Auto V are new console buyers. GTA V sales strongly correlate to sales of new consoles.

It's the #1 purchase for new PS4 and XB1 buyers this gen and the Online component is still very popular as reflected by Take Two's quarterly earnings.

Wouldn't you say a lot of these new PS4/XB1 owners are people who also owned the game on PS3/360?

Sure. But a good chunk are also new buyers.

We're getting to the point where the next gen verions (PS4/XB1/PC) are selling more than the last gen versions which is crazy.

Well with GTAV, that last bit makes sense as GTAV was released on the eve of the 8th gen so it is entirely possible that the overwhelming majority of PS360 owners of GTAV got the 8th gen ports and the rest of the sales are from people who never wanted the 7th gen version cause they were more interested in moving on to the 8th gen.
