Don't have to be. Democrats hate the middle class. Take a good look at California and how all the middle-class families are leaving.

They are leaving to other states because the cost of living is too high in Cali.  It has always been the case but has gotten worse recently.  Plenty of them are coming to Austin area which is driving up the cost of living here.

It's because of high taxes. They just approved a 52 billion gas tax increase in California. That is going to hurt California middle class or what is left of it.

Just my brief thoughts:

The OP may not have the tone that our more conservative members prefer, but frankly its author clearly put a lot of time and effort into writing it, which is more than one can say for his critics who have generally written a single sentence or two in reply.

Personally, I think the OP is, if anything, too generous and polite to Mr. Trump. I get that we're supposed to be all cool and no drama and everything like everything is fine and this happens every day and that that entails casually dismissing and endless stream of genuine horrors as if they don't matter and don't destroy the lives of real people (to say nothing of the very planet we live on), but the truth of the matter is that I will be happy if we manage to get out of this period without starting World War 3. That's how low the current president's "election" has set the bar for me and a good summation of my opinion of the last 100 years. (I mean days, DAYS! It just SEEMS like it's been a hundred years!) When you "elect" a billionaire self-confessed rapist who appears to have committed treason to get elected, what do you expect? A quality tenure?

Cost of housing is pretty damn high in some areas in Cali.  You can get a house 4-5 times bigger for same or less price compared to some Cali markets.

Location is everything.

What.

The.

Actual.

Fuck.

Not to mention, the 12 million number is from 2006. It got much higher by 2012 (the year in which this cover was issued) and I am pretty sure it's even higher now.

Just going to point out that you cannot really draw any conclusions based off of that reasoning.  You're just claiming numbers based off of numbers from one year and assuming it's higher based off of preconceived notions.  You can't just say "because it was X number this year, it must be higher now" when, in fact, there's a lot of reasons why it can lower as well.

Some data from the US Department of Homeland Security, for example.  There are data/evidence of the number going down instead of up.  You can't just assume you know things without actually knowing them.

Just for extra confirmation, I'll give you the link where I got this image.

Throwing in this one for good measure.

Like it's possible to have a rational discussion with someone with socialist in their profile name?

What about socialists like me who don't have it in their name?

You didn't make a thread like this while trying to pretend to want a civil discussion about it that I know of so you're cool.

I see a loooooot of whinging about "objectivity" XD

If Trump had done...something...anything...compentently, it would have been mentioned.
If Trump had passed ANY major legislation...it would have been mentioned.
If Trump had done ANYTHING to improve the lives of the average American...it would have been mentioned.
If Trump had any real military successes...it would have been mentioned.
If Trump had improved America's standing internationally (or even kept it the same)...it would have been mentioned.
If Trump had shown himself to be up to the most basic aspects of his job...it would have been mentioned.
If Trump's team was actually acting like a governing body...it would have been mentioned.

But that didn't happen.
Instead, the Regime has showcased incompetence, corruption, failure and malice, continuing its cock-up cascade. He's an historically weak and ineffectual "leader"...and that is the OBJECTIVE truth XD

You're delusional if you think any of that is objective because every bit of that is opinion and subjective. In your perception, trump has or hasn't done those things but it doesn't mean any of it is the absolute truth.

I suggest that you use the Insert/edit link feature or cite your sources at the end of your post, it would make your post a lot more readable.
