I'm in. Looking back at wonderful 101 which only did 410k lifetime and looked way more promising I will stand by what I said.

Take also into consideration that a second player would need 2 additional joy-cons for 80€ to fully appreciate the controls. This is one more reason of lower sales expectations.

The game would have a far better chance for selling around 20€. But, like I said, this is my own opinion and I stay by it until proven wrong.

This is what I want to see. People sticking to their guns and then drowning in the inevitable bloodbath.

It's very brave to bet against people buying additional controllers for a Nintendo console. What speaks in your favor is that there's no big multiplayer game releasing before ARMS, so people will have to buy more Joy-Cons specifically for Nintendo's new IP.

On topic: I am seeing a million seller here and by riding the wave of success of Switch, it can pass 2m as well. I rule out 3m because I want to say that you are on drugs, tbone.

If you got the choice between a Pro Controller and the 2 Joy-Cons, then I assume the probability of attachment is higher on tue Pro Controller.

Also, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe releases before Arms and I consider it a big Multiplayer game. Besides Zelda, this is the next "big" game to get and Splatoon 2 will release a month after Arms. Also, E3 is happening during the time and we will see what gamers will focus on during that time and afterwards.

Thinking about it, I don't really have anything to bet, considering my account is empty... Any suggestions?

Anyways, I base my confidence on the fact that it's a 1st party title that Nintendo is marketing heavily, and that it already has 3 skus charting on Amazon Japan.

I have also nothing to offer. But I would suggest, if I win at the end of the year, you change your avatar to a cute kitten and end every sentence of yours with a nya  for the whole of january 2018 :3

Okay (though I'll permit myself to mention the bet somewhere, to preserve dignity)

I'll think of something... If my creativity really doesn't spawn anything better, I guess you could just change to a puppy that says arf, or something... Feel free to suggest any better ideas

Bet with PeH:

I win if Arms sells over 700 000 units worldwide by the end of 2017.

Bet with WagnerPaiva:

I win if Emmanuel Macron wins the french presidential election May 7th 2017.

Looks good enough for me to buy it, certainly. I think it'll do 1m this year for sure, since it's getting good coverage, mostly positive reactions and just looks like a great game in-general. Beyond that though, not sure, but it could have great legs [Insert legs/arms pun here] .

Lmao, I guess Splatoon wasn't enough for people to not judge a game too early. Second times the charm perhaps?

Lmao Splatoon was the only new IP which was successfully on Wii U. All the other dozen new IP's flopped very hard on Wii U.

Dozen new Ips on Wiiu? What are you even talking about? lol

Dozens? Overall the only notable new IPs I can think of are Wonderful 101 and ZombiU (which far from failed selling over 1 million), but even still it's not like they were 1st party games developed by Nintendo unlike Splatoon and Arms.

Captain toad

Super Mario Maker

Anyway put your money where your mouth is. If arms sells over 1mil, you get banned for a week, if it doesnt ill get banned for a week. Ill even let it be by years end.

Deal or run away?

I don't see why not it doesn't have much competition and a lot Switch owners need games.

Are you going to use this arguement forever? WiiU games all hit 5mil+ right? Like W101/Pikmin3/bayo2 because of no competition?

@Rol. Dr vita stays being wrong in all my threads, and sometimes post his true feelings/intentions. Im just trying to make sure he keeps his actual word in believing himself! Ill give Peh credit for sticking to his guns unlike like others
