Yeah, North Korea has a hard time keeping the lights on at night, they think they can take on the US, South Korea, and Japan? Maybe even China might join in.

...Goodness, I would love seeing the Kim dynasty come to an end and the Koreas ultimately reunited.

China is still an allied with North Korea. China would utterly destroy Japan and South Korea. Hell I even think China can beat the US.

You sure China's knock off missiles wouldn't fall apart on them? "AH! why missle break?" *reads label* "ahh,of course."

Yeah, we all saw in the 50s how quick such a war would be over, didn't we? Never forget about China. China is the new superpower. With that in mind: please don't start World War 3, Mister Trump. Thanks!

China's in a situation of having too many bullets and too few guns (basically tons and tons of soldiers, and no real military power as far as airforce and navy). Besides, the moment anyone attacks Japan, we're gonna see what's really up with that "Gundam statue".

Japans armed force is a joke currently. The only thing bthey have is the backing of the US. China on the other hand is hyper-militarized in comparrison and whatever people think, they are capable on a technological level.

Or did they just made up the J20 and their nuclear arsenal?

They couldn't, Amercia is that far more resourced they would blow any country off the map with ease.

They couldn't even take Vietnam. The US military is the strongest military in the world, but that doesn't mean they can take on anybody. China can take out anything the US throws at them. The thing is that you have to actually get your forces somewhere to get in a fight. In the case of North Korea or china, that means crossing the pacific. Which is no easy thing to do with a lot of forces. The bloodiest battles in WW2 apart from Stalingrad were fought in the pacific. But even if the US can manage it, China has all of its forces right there on the continent. It's easy as fuck for them to fight off any kind of invasion, doesn't matter if by infantry or drones. Not only does China have access to technology, they also far surpass the US in terms of manpower as well as production capacity. China can pump out 10 tanks in the same time the US produces one, just as an example. So if China wants to defend North Korea, the US don't stand any chance at all. We already saw it in the 50s and since then China has become stronger while the US has become weaker. By now I wouldn't be surprised if the north supported by china took the south if another war would really break loose.

It's just more rhetoric. North Korea has nuclear weapons to deter other countries from invading them, if they really tried to use them on other countries they'd be invaded no doubt, which would be the exact opposite of what they want.

I don't really think anyone who has the power to order those nuclear strikes cares much about the consequences. If they really cared about it they would stop their provocations dressed up as defensive behavior. After all, ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads can hardly be used to "defend" their country.

So then, why have they never nuked the United States then, after all of these years of threats?

Because maybe they don't really have much to use and threatening is a lot more profiting to them than actually doing something. A suffering population due to excessive military spending is a lot more dangerous to them than any invasion.

Screaming threats in all directions is very beneficial to their leaders especially when you're backed up by China. I doubt they actually want to attack anyone. Everything they do is just reactionary or serves their own propaganda.
