Horizon was ahead on four retailer weekly charts. Tsutaya, COMG, Amazon and a fourth one I forget all showed it ahead, so people presumed that was a big enough sample.

It did very well regardless, wich is nice to see for a western IP in japan.

On an urelated note: Switch and Zelda did really well! :D

Think it was one or two but really the majority did not. However if anyone says horizon is short of amazing numbers in Japan they are crazy.

Look at the comment I quote from Supernova. At the COMG thread after those weekly retail charts released, apparently Horizon got more points than Zelda so lots of people said it outsold Zelda. But it looks like other retailers says otherwise.

Horizon sold more in one retailer apparently, and I recall at least one user here extrapolating that to all of Japan. Pretty sure most people understood that was foolish though, or at least I hope so.

Anyways, fantastic sales! Just hope it keeps up.

Edit: Guess it was more than one retailer. Crazy.
