I build mine about a year ago, these are the specs:
i7 6700k
Msi Nvidia GTX 980ti
16 GB of RAM
2 8GB mech HD in raid0 and 1 500GB SSD
1440p 20in IPS Acer monitor
MSI M7 gaming mother board

They make 20" 1440p monitors? The smallest one I've seen is 25".

Also, shouldn't those HDDs be 8TB, not GB?

Typos and typos, lol this is the monitor Acer G257HU and the HDD are 8TB indeed, I got an extra one due to an error with Amazon's shipping, they sent me the first original order and supposedly it got lost in transit so they resend it, a few days after I received the 2nd order I got the 1st one. The CPU was in the same order, I sold the extra CPU but kept the extra HDD!  And yes I asked and they told me to keep the original order!

My laptop specs are shit. Idk the specifics but lemme tell you this, when Minecraft, fucking Minecraft, is lagging on your laptop -you know your laptop is hot garbage

Good old i5 2500k
GTX 1070
16GB of 1866 MHZ DDR3
Couple of SSDs

Great PC for 1440p gaming.

My pc specs are garbage compared to everyone here, more than 10 years old, lol

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+ 2.3ghz
Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS
3GB DDR3 Ram
140GB HDD
Windows 7 32 bits

As you can imagine, I don't really use it for gaming :(

I've not got the greatest computer, but it runs everything I own on high/ultra at 60fps so y'know... I'm happy, lol.

i5 3570k overclocked at 4ghz (Standard 3.4ghz)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 4gb and overclocked to 1304mhz (Standard 1127mhz)
8GB DDR3 Corsair RAM
1TB HDD - Can't remember what brand lol
Samsung 120GB SSD - Only really have this for my OS and a few games

Still running Windows 7 lol, I refuse to upgrade to Windows 10 until every game I want in the future drops Win7 support.

I'm also on Win 7. I wasn't, and still am, sure about Win10 and all many of the things surrounding it.

I don't care for missing the Windows Store and DX12.

How's that monitor for gaming? Do you notice lag? And what about the text, is it too small to read? (for comparison, I have a 23" 1080p monitor and the scaling is left at the default 100%).

I'm not a fan of big screens, but I'd like to go with a higher resolution.
