*puts a shotgun into your face* Did you not read the OP?

Yes. He was clearly the villain of that movie. Why do you think the protagonist had to shoot him?

This!

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

1. Smeagol/Gollum from "Lord of the Rings" always felt sad seeing the corruption of the one ring eventually consume him. The multiple personality scenes showed the internal struggle and made me feel bad even if he tried to stop the heroes.

2. Koba from "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" was handled well by keeping him for two films to allow you to see his understandable prejudice against humans and how it was inevitable his differences with Caesar would end one of them.

It was a mercy kill you imbecile!! What do you think happens to dogs who get full rabies, do they just wait it out and get better? No! Do they slowly and horribly die? Yes! It didn't help that the virus made him attack his own family either.

So the virus was the villain? Okay then. I change my answer.

The rabies virus in Old Yeller.

How on gods green earth do you kill off one of the most loved, most iconic, one of the most powerful X-Men villains in such easy fashion ?

Apocalypse - X-Men Apocalypse.

X-Men movies needs to get the R rated, in order to start getting good movies.
