I managed to get a preorder of the console from Best Buy, the BotW Master Edition from Amazon, and the BotW amiibo I wanted, as well as preordering other games and accessories that didn't seem to be so limited in quantity. Didn't miss anything I was hoping to grab, so I felt pretty fortunate. Though I did stay up until 3 am for all of that..

Pre-ordered long ago, was possible at Media Markt germany just a short time after the initial reveal trailer, so I'm good.

Not only got it, but even changed it from the grey joy-cons to the colored version.
Looking at the poll (and assuming the people who voted 'no' actually wanted a pre-order) it lines up with the numbers we have from Gamespot.
Nintendo was able to cover approximately 2/3 of the demad with their planned shipment. Let's see if they increase it.

Managed to pre-order the grey Joycon Switch from Nintendo's website, just in time as the coloured Joycon edition is currently sold out there.

I have put a preorder in but I think they were out of stock so I will likely get the second batch. Looking forward to Botw though, that games looks like pure magic.

I was able to preorder it through gamestop's website. I think it was the day after the conference. Unfortunately, they didn't have it available for in store pickup, so I had to pay extra to get it on launch day. And I have to take a day off of work to be home for the package -_-...

I got it at Amazon, but I wish I had time to take advantage of GameStop's trade-in promotion: $75 extra trade-in credit for PS4, WiiU, or XOne.
