Dude on stage was bored to dead, EA dont care i dont know why they bother.

Because if it sells well (and FIFA sells well too) they can be like, "see, see, told you we were great partners!!!" Here's more shovelware/yearly downgraded sports titles!

Well its EA.Their shitty practices is not surprising.

Shitty practices? Nintendo are the ones to have outdated hardware. Nothing EA can do about it.

And this is why I've been telling everyone to chill about the famous list of logos and "partners" that has been shared for months now. Most support will likely be worthless, especially from EA, as should be expected of them.

There's support and then there's "support".

A lot of people were saying that actually. But IMO others chose to think with their heart and dream about the Switch rather than thinking rationally and being more pessimistic.

I have to admit that I like to read today a lot of people being disappointed or shocked at news that a lot of other users explained months ago. Who would have thought too much baseless hype could lead to disappointment?

I'm not happy that people are disappointed, not at all. But I'm amazed at the fact that many never seem to learn. I'm inherently skeptical about any and all claims made by developers and publishers, throughout the 7th gen, there was so much BS floating around that I just had to step down and see it for what it is.

Nintendo has NEVER needed EA on handhelds. EA has had virtually no presence on Nintendo handhelds and when they have they gave no effort.

well, at least someone agrees with me that the switch is a handheld not a console.

And i dont see what the issue is here, the switch is literally last gen hardware. Funny that some people were actually expecting PS4/XB1 games on it.

Guess that ship has finally sailed.

Spec wise yhe Switch is closer to the PS3 than the PS4 especially when undocked.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

This version of FIFA being played on the go excites me, in terms of it being played on the big screen, couldn't care less. Will probably buy second hand used after a few months.

Yes, its shitty.Switch may be weaker, but Fifa is hardly a demanding game.If they wanted to make some effort, they could bring Fifa 2017 or 2018 to the Switch, albeit with some downgraded visual and/or effects. Its just a matter of effort. So yeah, Ea its giving "support" to the switch, and its just really shitty.

And Im not mentioning its other practices with microtransactions and stuff.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

And then when it sells only 200k they'll stop making them on the switch and scratch their head as to why it flopped.

Is that what we're going to be doing now? Pretend it's not a home console? Then when it bombs because it's not keeping up with modern consoles (neither in power or the games department), you can fall back and say "hey, it's a handheld! It's not competing with PS4 and XBOne"???

So no fifa after they are done with the ps3 and the Xbox 360 versions.
