SaGa: Scarlet Grace sales are not horrible. But I feel disappointed because it had the potential to sell so much more than that. What a shame. :/

It's having very good word-of-mouth and has sold out on Amazon.jp (next shipment: December 25th) so there's a chance of some legs for this one at least.  Should pass 100k fairly easily at least.

Hmm, they track the PS4 Pro as a separate console? Wow, these lists will be getting crazy long with PS4 Pro, Xbox One and Scorpio, all the 3DS versions, Wii U and Switch with possible different versions.
We're gonna need to change the front page!

Also; PS4 Pro sales are poor, it seems I was right in thinking that it won't be spurring the PS4 into a fantastic 2017, or the fabled 20 million selling CY.

It's sold out across Japan, why do some people keep saying things like this when we have been repeating over and over again , get over it, Ps4 will sell 20m on 2017, probably more.

Get over it? Get over what? How does it affect me in any way? I already own a PS4, and it's not like I'll be sad or angry if it sells 20 million in one CY. What I've been saying is that it probably won't sell 20 million in one CY, due to changes in the marketplace and demographics and the overall impact that market driving features and forces are having on more static products like consoles. It's an observation based on, well, observation, not wishes or desires, unlike many of my "opponents" in here. The industry is making tons of money on microtransactions and mobile gaming, which is disgusting to me as a gamer, but it's still an observable fact and development, regardless of my feelings on the subject(s).

I'll glady eat my words if the PS4 sells 20 million "or more" in 2017. What does "or more" mean anyway? May I have an estimation and some reasoning behind it from you? Nothing formal, a guess will suffice.

People must really hate the Switch, hoarding 3DS like they do.

The reader review is 99, I think that's amazing.

Hopefully this game gets localized in some way to the west. Really want to play this one. Could be a great way to give the PS Vita a big farewell in the west.

Pokemon, Youkai and Mario Maker were released on a very short timespam. I'm surprised there is still any 3DS left over there. Shame this happened on the verge of a new console, because this could have move a really big chunk of hardware if the 3DS was a couple of years younger and people were not saving for the Switch.

Then I guess it's Nintendo that hates the Switch by delaying its release after these blockbusters.

What...? hahaha

3DS is almost selling like last year ( it will end up with 2m in its 6th year )  in a market where it has hit the point of saturation , it seems like that people don't  consider switch a 3ds successor, maybe they're right... Perhaps, they see it  just as a wii u successor, as a portable more powerful and afforable wii u, what wii u should be.

Also, you can't save money for something when you don't know its price! If it's 250$ for instance, many of 3ds audience won't buy it as they weren't buying 3ds at that price, not  all  handheld console gamers are interested in home gaming on tv to justify the price...

it should be sold at 199 standalone, if that is feasible, or Nintendo should make a cheaper and more portable ( and weaker ) switch version like 2ds for 3ds.

I still stand by my reasoning that Pokemon Sun/Moon should have been launch titles or 1st year games for the Switch. Even if they don't sell as much as they have due to hardware adoption, the Switch needs a massive installbase as fast as possible to get the attention and 3rd parties, and Pokemon would have made the trick. I'm sure Nintendo already has a Mario Maker port prepared as we are speaking, and the 3DS one was just an attempt to try and see how to share the WiiU's levels with other versions. Youkai still has to release on the 3DS because it's the only platform it's ever been (besides some mobile minigames), but I'm sure YW 4 will also release on the Switch.
