"Xbox One Zero Two Plus S."

It seems like some people are under the impression MS is aiming for "half gen" update with this.
I don't think that squares with their messaging at all, this will not be Xbone Pro/1.5/etc.
What they've said is that Scorpion will be the beginning of "no generations" / continual update.
That means they plan for Scorpion Pro/1.5/etc. Otherwise, Xbone would be first of "no gen" sequence.
That doesn't mean there can't be BW-compatabilty, after all that has existed with previous consoles.
With Scorpion, they're not aiming to have simple to dev for "update" of Xbone ala PS4/Pro.
Which would imply retaining CPU and memory model of Xbone, which stat rumors don't bear out.
Sony may not have had Zen option, but certainly had Puma+ on table, and declined for ease of devs (not $).
I think the similarities between MS and Sony PR has confused the issue to some extent.
And to some extent it doesn't matter, however you want to spin it or flavor it,
there will just be different power levels of consoles with varying levels of compatability.

That "no generation" thing is nonsense. They would need unlimited forwards compatibility.

Xbox Uno

(Every Xbox has essentially had the same name, Xbox, Xbox 360 and 360 degrees is just Xbox for going full circle. Xbox One which again essentially just Xbox)

XBOX ONE SIX all in capitals.

This sounds more likely.

MS wants to forget XB1 and move on. If Scorpio is a "no gens" console going forward, then using the Xbox One naming scheme could work, but something like Xbox Infinity would make more sense. Using a number scheme, implies gens. It also makes it easy to "compare" it to PS3, PS4, PS5, and realize Xbox is "behind", unless they want to skip a number or two like they did with Windows 10.

I'm not a huge fan of Inifinity, but its not horrible either. They could distinguish between Infinity consoles in many different ways as they come out with new models, or maybe, just maybe, they have designed it with an extremely beefy Zen CPU, and all you need to do is buy and connect an external GPU/RAM in the future to upgrade performance of the main console. They are doing this with external HDD's right now. why not external GPU's?

The Scorpio name kind of has a way out there, heavenly body, vastness of space, sort of feel to it. Infinity would fit. Plus the Halo reference. I would rule out any numbers completely.

They should just use a Scorpion symbol/tramp stamp next to Xbox One.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I truly, and honestly believe it'll be Xbox 4K. Just because they want that number to be associated with the platform.

Xbox Really True 4k.
