if it plays in a similar manner to ICO and SOTC then this is far from being a con.

I don't remember them having bad controls, but previewers of The Last Guardian seem to think they did :-/

Ico and sotc are a bit more work than point camera and press x.
Some found the hand holding in Ico not responsive enough, and the recovery time while swinging and holding on to Colossi too long. As well as the horse not instantly starting and turning. The only minor nitpick I found replaying Ico is that it can be a bit finicky where to stand when jumping up to grab a chain.

I wonder how it will be reviewed in this day where platforming has been reduced to merely steering the camera vaguely in the right direction with qte button prompts if you need to do something.

Phenomenal music they say, awesome. I just bought new floor standing speakers and center and they sound excellent. The delivery truck better not be late on Tuesday!

12 - 15 hours campaign ? oh yess awesome news ! just a few more days

It seems you have being playing FF15 quite a lot. Is it good?

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

This will be a 90+ on metacritic!!!
If the story is moving it'll be 90 guaranteed for that alone.

I think that there will be a legit generation gap between gamers who played Ico and SOTC and younger people who only play this game. This will lead to very different scores. Some will forgive that it plays like a old school game and others will condemn it for not being as responsive as a modern era game.

What do you mean by generation gap? That makes no sense. People of all age play video games and that's always been the case as far as I know. We'll see returning players as well as new ones, but I'm pretty sure the new ones will vary in age just as any other title

What he means is that there will be a difference between new gamers, that are used to simply pointing where to go and the game practically plays by itself, vs old school where navigating the terrain was still part of the gameplay, not just downtime between battles.

Yup. There will be modern features that will be missing from this game (according to modern gamers). And it will affect how gamers who wasn't raised in the old ways feel about the game.
