Forums - Microsoft Discussion - 2016 Will Be Remembered as a "Tipping Point" for Xbox One

It's best year......with one of the worse exclusive line up years it has ever had sadly. Everything crammed into 4 weeks of the 52 week year....QB being the only outlier.

When they tipped from distant second to ever-so-slightly less distant second?

Anyway, if Xbox is doing great, it's time to share that worldwide sell-through figure

22 millions early september, 14 in USA.

Where did you find that?

I'm sure we didn't have a thread, that's news to me.

Where did you find this? The US numbers look accurate, though those worldwide sales are lower than I expected if true.

If i remember, it was for the Windows 10 event, or something like that, don't remember the official name : D

That's why i said Vgchartz numbers seems not too bad for Xboxone.

But it's probably the last numbers we will get from MS, Spencer said after all they will not talk about sales anymore, but "active users", "hours played" , etc.

I might argue that a general tipping point for them really started back in the Fall of 2015. How far that tipping point goes though remains to be seen.

Looks like VVGC has the XBO overtracked if that is true.  Of course, I'm even doubting that is real.  I can't find any source online that reported it.

Not really, Xbox slim launched in september, and the Xone got a nice sales boost, it seems ok.

Well, i just remembered this picture on my French forum, we talked about it in a NPD thread, or japan sales thread.

Good to see more positive news from Xbox land. Its really a worthy console. If they could have found a way to launch with the S model instead of the monster I think Xbox would have bad a better fate. Either way I'm on board now and look forward to upgrading to Scorpio when it launches next year.
