The key to a high attach rate is to offer very few games. I think Nintendo is on to something. Hmm.

Oh, that's why the Wii U is the Nintendo console with the fewest games ever! Only 160 games, with 1/4 from Nintendo themselves . . . Smart move ! ^^

Mate just stop the series was selling well even among good third party support so I suggest you stop before you find yourself in hot water again as your intentions in these threads are clear, what blows your argument out the water is that MK7 on 3DS a platform with good support has 14m on a userbase of 60m. |
I don't think the 3DS has very good third party support so my argument is valid. I'd be curious to see Nintendo first party sales if people are buying the big third party games on it.

Nintendo's share of the Pokemon Go success is higher than that, it's not included in the smart devices content report because it's not a Nintendo published product (that'll be Miitomo accounting for that money). 12 billion yen came from "entities accounted for using the equity method", "This is mainly from the Pokemon Company". That's around $115 million. See this.
Don't forget Apple/Google take a cut of sales of Pokemon Go through the App/Play Stores, respectively, as do Niantic and the Pokemon Company.
If we don't get 3 on Switch, I will boycott their offices!! :P

Nice, Pokemon Go really did help boost sales.. makes me wonder where Sun/Moon will be placed..
Good numbers for other games, crazy to see Mario Kart 8 have 8M despite the userbase being only at 13M

It's not what you think it's what the actual situation is and 3DS has good third party support and considering one of the most famous excuses from third parties is that it's hard competing against Nintendo's first party as well as them consistently being the top sellers on all their platform by a large margin since the days of the NES I think you're out of your league on this one.
Have Nintendo given the total number of games shipped for Wii U which they often do? I want to see them come close to hitting 100m games shipped. I think last time they gave the numbers it was close to 90 million.

So no numbers on how much Pokemon Go itself made. 115M across 6 months and all licensing deals.
