That makes it also easier to lose some of the parts if you carry them around separately ;)

Yeah, that is a possibility too.

Don't worry I'm sure Nintendo will be more than happy to make a small fortune off of children losing their joycons

They'll probably offer Joy-Cons in different colors so you can "switch" the look every few days. Accessories are always highly profitable.

that's very interesting!

it looked bigger on the plane footage!

It it is really long though. With the joy cons on - it's got to be over 8 inches long.

I liken it to holding a big tasty sandwich! Easy to hold, but you can't really hold that in your pants lol

Hey - i don't want to be rude or anything - But I am holding more then 8 inch in my pants and that's fine .

Switch!!!

I'm not sure about this comparison by the way, mainly talking about the WiiU one. Imagining the hand shown with the Switch on the WiiU Gamepad, I feel like it should be a bit bigger.

So it's this

versus this

The comparison show here actually assumes the same screen size - as the WiiU gamepad screen is also 6.2 inches.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Mmm yeah, there the hand itself on the WiiU Gamepad seems a bit small. I don't really have big hands myself, still, I don't know, could still be fairly accurate. Just feel like something's "off", but maybe the Japanese just portray small hands in these pictures.

Huh, why is the analog stick on the right below the face buttons?
I guess they must be sorta similar when you use them separately in multiplayer?

And the split design actually end up being more comfortable (ala Xbox vs. PS).

Both PS and XBox have the right stick below the face buttons as well, however they have it to the left, not directly under so it's not in the way. PS and XBox differ on the left with stick placement, yet they're still offset so it doesn't really matter. Placing them right above eachother looks like they might get in the way.

The gamepad has both analog sticks above and offset, not in the way. However playing FNR cramps my hand up from shoulder and face button placement. At least that should be more comfortable.
