If they are really "incompetent business suits" they would go like Sega long time ago, they are actualy great in bussines. Problem with them is that they playing buy their own rules so it's hard to understand them.

Only thanks to the loyal fans. Nintendo already lost many of them, including me, when killed Wii U without any reasons. They were terrible at marketing, they were terrible at localisations, they were terrible over delays and whole development troubles. They abandoned Wii U 1.5 years ago and now acts like idiots "Heeey! Everybody should be excited of another "no one care" Pokemon game and NES emulator! Wii U owners are going to have to be fully satisfied this holiday season!".

Have they really lost that many loyal fans? I'm curious about that. They still have over 60 million 3DS owners. Yes it's a far cry of the 150+ million DS owners but that's still a pretty good number considering the circumstances. Then you got plans like theme parks, mobile, merchandise such as shoes, figures, and apparel, films, tv shows, etc. There seems to be a great demand for these things. Then you got Mario getting a cameo appearance in the closing ceremonies of the Olympics that appeared to be received positively and even Pokemon repping the Japanese World Cup team. Plus the Symphony of the Goddesses touring have been met with great demand and positive reception. It's hard to determine that through sales alone since a lot of factors (including confusing marketing that made some not even sure of what the Wii U was) affected the Wii U's sales.
