I think it's a really cool piece of technology. I personally would be into something like this in the future when it becomes more polished and powerful.

Eh, I would rather just let my phone be my phone and my laptop/desktop be what they are. Typing documents and viewing videos and etc on a small screen is not something I am a fan of. Specially if you put gaming into the mix.

Not really. You can display your phone screen on a PC will all phones yes but this runs a version of windows 10 that's portable and can be used as a desktop. I probably supports some windows 10 programs but since its not full windows 10 and more like windows phone it won't support all apps.

I feel the same way. It's why I still use my Lumia for making calls and sending texts, coudln't care for the shoddy camera since I have my own dedicate camera for taking high quality photos. Same reason why I have my Walkman since it has more than enough space than I'll ever need and I don't have to mess around with anything on it either. 

Until we reach the future where a watch can run stuff at 8k and beyond, I won't be all that interested.

as said in the video, this is the start of something much bigger. eventually we will get to a point where all we will have to do is carry around a single device and just plug it into different docks for different needs.

as for the phone itself, it seems top of the line, but its a windows phone, which isnt very appealing. an android device with the same functionality would capture my interest more, but i get that you do need windows for this kind of thing.

but when he mentioned that it works like a chromebook i immediately lost interest. i have tried using chromebooks, 2-in-1 tablets, etc, and they are nothing more than PCs with diminished specs. lower amounts of RAM, slower processors, and harddrives under 100 GB. we simply arent at the point where we can shove that much into a 7 inch device and have it affordable and appealing.

It's not just sharing your phone screen on a bigger monitor, it's adding/removing/resizing/etc. to adjust for a PC-like experience. And you can run the same app on the phone, using the same data, just adapted for a mobile screen and input options. I've got a Lumia 950 XL and use this functionality.

Woah. It's much better than I thought. It's probably more reliable than my own PC.

Loving this phone. That is the what the NX should be, but as an optimized gaming phone.

If I was to get this I would plug in a wireless USB mouse and keyboard and have this thing running on the 75in TV.
