Yep. There's so much DLC, that most of my friends items are from DLC. Not what was in the original game. Either they stop making DLC, or hire another team in order to make a patch.

Considering its such an important game to PlayStation and Sony wants to sell the Pro,  would it make sense for Sony to assist them patch it either financially or prove some man power? That's assuming rockstar didn't want to do it.

But if they did it would lead to a small but notable increase in gta V sales so it would definitely be worth rockstars time.

It would make sense. Such a big game getting a patch would definitely raise the sales of the PS4 Pro.

It'll be too hard to do a patch!.... Well honestly I'd like Sixty fps and I'll be happy. But honestly I think they'll only have a constant frame rate and thats it.

Why should it be hard to patch? They just have to pick a higher resolution and test if the performance is still good enough on the Pro. Or they crank up the viewing distance and test if the performance is still good enough on the Pro. Or they replace some assets with some higher quality assets (they already have from the PC version) and test if the performance is still good enough on the Pro.

Or a mix of the above. The engine is scalable, it is no rocket science. And performance testers are other people than content creators anyways, so these optimizations wouldn't delay new content.

Through a patch I would hope indeed. If gaming companies, I'm speaking generally here, are now going to make "UHD Remasters" (which would mean there would in effect be two remasters on a single system for a good bunch of games), I will lose all my respect for them.

Yes, Rockstar won't want to miss this chance to push GTA V sales further.

Yes I believe it will get Pro support. There was some article, interview or something where it was mentioned that taking advantage of the Pro features did not need a full team but only few individuals. This can obviously vary depending how deep the developer is willing to go but I would guess Sony designed the Pro and necessary tools in such way where it is easy to make 4K-mode of the base PS4 version.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I don't know if it would be that much of a difference. Considering its +60m copies sold, probably everyone interested in the PS4 Pro has already bought the game for the regular PS4, or PC if they want it at its maximum specs.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

So GTA V is the biggest game on consoles.  It's still being bought in its droves.  Obviously Sony would like a pro patch.  4k @30fps and 1080p with ultra graphics. But will it happen?  Are rockstar bothered?  Answer the poll above and leave a comment below.

On a side note does anybody know about this.  Sony don't want online games getting patched to 60fps if they're 30fps on the regular ps4. But are pro devs allowed to improve the graphics online?  So still 30fps but they could make it 4k online or 1080p online with big graphical improvements.  Anybody know?

Yea i think that's true as having 60fps over 30fps would give people an unfair advantage.

FIrst-Person perspective was a big reason why some PS3 owner bought the PS4 version too. Maybe if they include more new extra stuff which is only playable in the Pro version more people who only owned the PS3 version will buy the PS4 version. I am not expecting a big boost with this strategy, just little extra cash for Rockstar Games.

You'd think everyone who wants gta has it but the game just never stops selling.  It's got another 30-40m sales left for sure.
