It's not about that at all. He's not here to discuss, or to debate. You can't prove him wrong, because he's not here to be right. He only pops up in PlayStation/Sony threads for a single purpose.

I don't think he should be fired, but Sony definitly has not had a good 1st party for a few years now. It is very odd how they did such amazing work with the PS3, which was said to be incredibly difficult to work with, yet they are putting out less and lower quality games now, with the PS4 which is supposed to be a dream to work on.

To give them credit, I really enjoyed Killzone Shadowfall, Infamous Second Son, DRIVECLUB, and Uncharted 4. The problem is thats barely one game a year, when at times on PS3, even early, it was closer to 4 games a year I was really enjoying.

Then you don't have Home, which should be part of PS4, especially with them charging for Online now. Home could have really worked well on PS4, and It would have been one of the biggest killer apps they could have ever asked for, for PSVR.

Finally, going forward, I just don't have a lot of excitement for what they are working on. I feel Horizan is over praised, and heading in the same direction as No Mans Sky. Gran Turismo Sport is a great looking game, but it should have come out in 2015, in 2017, four years after launch, I am expecting a full GT with 2000+ cars and 100+ tracks, not a Prologue. God of War, this one looks the most interesting of the traditional games they have in development. I'm not exactly sure I like it, but it looks promising.

All, I can say is, I really hope WWS has been hard at work creating amazing PSVR titles, and that is why things look so bleak right now. If that is not the case, then Sony has a serious problem internally, and it needs to be addressed ASAP. And to those talking PS4 sales, that is due to PS4 being the home of 3rd party games right now. Shu is very lucky that 2nd & 3rd parties have carried the ship so far.

To suggest that he alone determines release schedules is off. Sony said after DriveClub that more attention would go to releasing quality...

Are you sure about that? What i stated isnt made up. He actually has done those things  Maybe you should stick with the topic at hand instead of turning everything into a personal attack. Prove me wrong if your right. Its a forum.

I find this very curious and am genuinely interested in why that's your reason for supporting the topic of firing him. 

I have a lot more games from PS3 I really enjoyed including each of the ones you listed. Motorstorm, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, and Motorstorm 3D were all amazing titles. Wipeout HD was a very good title which I still play today on Vita. Then, there was Infamous and Infamous 2 which for me where the open world games of the generation. God of War Ascension was much better than it is given credit for, and easily the best gameplay of the series.

Of course things vary from person to person, but for me, PS4 has had as I said, Killzone Shadowfall, Infamous Second Sun, DRIVECLUB, and Uncharted 4. I have played every Sony 1st party title on PS3 and PS4, and this gen things are quite a bit behind PS3 from my experiences.

No i dont believe he should be fired, but his on thin ice.

ms is keeping very rigid to release schedules and for the most part their first party is dissapointing.

sony is very loose with release schedules but for the most part their first party is very impressive.


i prefer sony's strategy.



i don't know if it is a profitable strategy or not but as a gamer i really appreciate how much sony is pushing the boundaries on their games.
