Pretty sure that'd be a conflict of interest for selling PS4 units, so I wouldn't expect it until after PS5 comes out.

Not only that, but have you used PSNow? The input lag is atrocious, making games like The Last of Us unplayable. To say it's a viable alternative is just simply... Well, it's not.

Yeah id say Emulation will be the best case for both. We will most likely get a Ps4 emu before Ps5 comes out thanks to it using standard PC parts (Even more so then the original xbox) we will also possibly get a Ps5 emu not long after release depending on how different its hardware is from PS4. And PS3 games will be better played locally on an emulator too, more so if you own the games since you wont have to buy them again or pay subscription..

I doubt it, considering PS2 emulators don't even work 100% after a decade and a half. But you know, don't mention that. It'd hurt your argument. And isn't the PS3 emulator in just absolutely awful shape?

And I don't think you're reading what I'm saying between the lines, so I'll say it upfront: PSNow sucks.

Maybe it just depends on your personal taste in games.

I have all the consoles and my Wii U is the least used because I don't much care for its exclusives outside of a few titles.

For some people. I just got a really decent PC for university and I can see how people love to game on them. Really accessible, you can game and work, USB controllers, up gradable parts, I'm loving my new PC. But it doesn't have everything. Well not yet at least. Now that PSNow is coming to PC it's only a matter of time before PS4 games make the jump.

Since you where maybe mostly a console gamer before hand can i ask?. Was gaming on Pc hard?.

Its just you always see some console gamers using this?.

Steam makes everything seamless for the most part. I love Steam. It's jut really convenient, especially if you have some decent specs. As Azuren said, PSNow isn't perfect. But it's just starting out. While I don't use PSNow much, PC is still very appealing. No switching discs, I use a NES 30 Pro controller from 8BitDo for all of my Steam games. It's a beauty

I can't believe I was going this long without Steam. I still have a PS4, Xbone, and Wii U but because of university it's just more convenient to have everything in one place without cords and stuff.

You should give PS2 emulation a go these days, it's actually super good and not representative of that old view point.

Nope there's literally like 2 Wii U games I actually want, Xenoblade and Zelda and that's definitely not heaven. PS4 on the other hand has Horizon, Kingdom Hearts 2.8, Gravity Rush 2, The Last Guardian, Persona 5, Spiderman, God of War, and a shit ton more.

Ps2 and PS3 wasnt using standard PC parts . Also 100% of the biggest PS2 games work perfect and better then the originals still more backward compat then the Ps4 has . And unless its some really strange game it should work pretty much perfect.

And no the PS3 emu is coming along pretty good. Here watch some of them videos.

Not bad id say for emulating the Cell. Imagine what they will do when they only have to work with the standard PC hardware in the PS4.

I could make the most eloquently worded post in response to this, but you'd still argue it. Bye.

Depends on who it is, but you definitely can get the most variety if you went PC + Nintendo rather than another console

So with Nintendo consoles being the only ones that pretty much dont share 90% of their games with PC.

That has to do with Nin's lack of third party support, not another platform's lack of first party support.
