Ps4 Pro for 399 is a amazing deal, even Netflix is on board with this with the 4k content coming to the library, 600h of it, even with Narcos 2 =)

What does it mean to Nintendo?

One thing: call the NX the sucessor of the 3DS or lose it in a big way.

If they say the NX is their next big thing, they will be laughed out of the theatre.

Now, if they come out with a Pokemon RPG to NX and say: "it is the next step for our handheld line and, if you want, you can hook it up to your tv. As consoles, you guys just wait".

Then Nintendo will have a winner, a amazing Pokemon machine that hookw up to the tv, amazing.

Sony just turned this game brought the game to a whole new level, there will be blood. Nintendo has to do the blue ocean strategy in a huge way.

As for MS, they are probably scratching their heads right now.

The regular PS4 was probably already more powerful than the NX, so I don't think it's changed much. PS and Nintendo are not moving in the same circles

We don't know what the NX is yet. So far, Eurogamer's rumors seem to be on point so if we go by that, NX will be a handheld. So whether or not they announce it as a 3ds's successor won't matter cause people will see it as that. The only way they won't is if Nintendo bring out a device that doesn't have the same games as the "NX" and is also portable but that would be a weird choice.

NX is not competing with PS4 Pro, it's competing more with tablets.

Besides there was nothing really surprising about the show ... we knew $399.99 as the floated price before hand.

nah, nothing changes. The ps4 pro is a great deal but sony is winning already, it's the same console and the same market, also the same price. NX is going to be something different with different games that you can't play on pc, xbox or ps. MS is the one that needs to go back to the drawing board.
