And then delay the NX for 2 months after having an entire event surrounding its release date.

Also, I just remembered. I'll be going to a place without internet this week, and I'm going to miss the Direct, dammit. :(

Probably going to be the last Nintendo Direct for Nintendo 3DS?

Give me a etrian odyssey V localization, ever oasis details, a DQ8 release date and maybe a new reveal and im happy

It makes sense to have a Direct for 3DS before the Christmas season, it's still Nintendo's primary revenue driver with NX only launching in March at the earliest. Expect Pokemon Sun & Moon, Dragon Quest VII and VIII to feature, and some new announcements for localisations, eShop (nindies) and Virtual Console, maybe another wave of SNES games for New 3DS.

EDIT: I also expect we'll see more of Ever Oasis. Plus localisation for Monster Hunter Stories.

If it's the last Direct for the 3DS, that means the upcoming Directs will be NX ones. Once Nintendo uses all their 3DS games, they will have nothing left but the NX (outside of another Zelda-only Direct maybe).

They're probably going to focus a lot on 3DS's JRPG lineup. Hopefully they say something about NX, at least a reveal date...but I wouldn't expect that even.

This might be out there but maybe they will announce FFV and FFVI for the 3DS, in the same vein that they did FFIII and FFIV for the DS.

Let's hope the end it with a reveal date for NX. That's lame, but we would finally know when this period of our lives can end... :p

Can't imagine there much more to show off if NX is indeed a hybrid. Lots of Pokemon I guess
