They work, trust me. I reported Rol in 2014 for calling me an idiot and he got banned. No one has mod protection or anything like that.

You can't ignore attacks like this, if you ignore people assume it's true which is what he wants. This user gets away with a lot. Reports do nothing. But that message sent to head mod is very telling how he works behind the scenes. 

I often find if people are just out looking for attention, if you reply you feed them what they want, if you ignore someone who wants to talk but only talks rubbish then they'll eventually get bored of talking to themselves and not bother to chat... works with a lot of people on this forum, sadly there are still one or two who insist on typing posts which no one seems to reply to now. Like I said ignoring works great when you know a person won't change.

Nobody does have mod protection, don't want to claim that. Mod leniency is probably better.

I once called some retard a retard and got banned for it, apparently it doesnt matter if its the truth or not name calling is a no no -_-

In this case no I couldn't ignore. Couldn't leave false claims like that hanging.

When there is a large scale problem, it's the mod team's job to identify the root cause and crack down on it to send a strong message. You certainly qualify as a root cause and your recent thread creation history is more than enough evidence to justify action. This thread is not an isolated incident, it's part of a pattern.

-SWORDF1SH is long past the point where the benefit of the doubt works as a defense.

I think backseat modding does need to become an offense though, I don't think non-moderators throwing around comments like this is acceptable, in the future I don't think users should be able to publically witch hunt another user like this, and I also think a thread like THIS one shouldn't be a thing either.

If you're not a mod, report and move on. Public discussion about another users behaviour shouldn't be allowed, at least not unless it is first sanctioned by a moderator.
