No Man's Sky is a love or hate situation, or at least that's why I have seen.
The PC reviews are justified though, is stupid how they could release the game on such a bad state.

It was the mixed reviews and opinions I read about that turned me off. First one was pretty good imo. It was 50% off at best buy last week and I still didn't bite. Glad it's doing well though, even if it's an EA game. :)

Most of the hate comes from people who still, to this day and after having been sucked in previously and "lied" to, get sucked into the hype machine...again. Seriously how masochistic can you be?
I hate the word "bandwagon." I hate the idea that if something gets too much hate, people start saying that others hate it just because it's cool to hate it.
I despise Star Fox Zero with everything inside me. I think it's a garbage game. And I would think that even if literally every other person on the planet thought it was a masterpiece. It's not a bandwagon thing. We're allowed to hate games. Sometimes they just deserve it.
It's the gaming community. It's sad but true... most of the community are hateful people with nothing better to do (literally) but go online and hate on things.
I think street fighter V could be added to that list, although it is the best a street fighter has ever played. Capcom didn't do themselves any favours by releasing the game with a 16 fighter rooster and expect gamers to all of a sudden pay for the fighters that once just came with the game by default.
Personally I didn't hate it but I can sort of see why it got the hate.

Its justified. Because those games are not good. Some of them are decent at best. Theres not much more to it than that. Its not a "hate bandwagon", you're just choosing to see it that way.
That doesn't mean you are not able to enjoy those games, I personally like No Man's Sky and have been playing it since it came out, but it's easy to see why it gets the reviews it gets and I don't think it deserves much better. Let's not put in a pedestal games that don't deserve to be in it.
