because the budgets and studios could work on putting better movies out. as i said pixels had a great concept. and ultimatly adam sandler killed it.

He didn't kill it, he didn't write or direct the damn thing. He didn't  do everything by himself... Putting everything on his shoulders is kind of ridiculous.

he was the lead. and his face alone is beyong annoying, and thats before he starts to even talk. when the lead of a comedy is shit, the whole movie falls apart.

I know with his western one Ridiculous 6 it seemed like was heavily promoted on the menu and even had it auto play a few times at the conclusion of watching other films. I watched a bit and couldn't believe it had a bigger budget than the Hateful Eight.

I am curious how streaming services define success of their projects.

If they make money it's hard to fault them. Sad thing is that Sandler can actually act when given the chance, but this is the shit people want from him.

Um, The Do Over was a good movie imho. I enjoyed it, and I typically despise Adam Sandler movies.

I liked Ridiculous 6.

As a Netflix subscriber, this is awesome, isn't it? Netflix is probably making money off of this. And if you're subscribed to Netflix, that means they have more money to make shows and movies you watch, right? I mean, how can anyone rage against this saying that they're wasting money here when they could be funding other projects? Doesn't Netflix fund a ton of great shows of all kinds? Animation, film, live-action series...this is a good thing for subscribers, isn't it? Nobody's saying Adam Sandler is making Schindler's List, but he's making money for them that they can spend elsewhere.

Good news.

Like most people I havent cared about a Sandler movie since the 90s. Some of his old stuff is still enjoyable.

This Netflix stuff aint for everybody but clearly people enjoy it, maybe kids watch it. I dont complain about it because I just accept it aint for me.

I agree 100% with you. You now have my admiration and respect.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

People like bad movies - plenty of them are successful at the BO or on streaming services.
