anyone so thirsty for power should not be allowed anywhere near the seat of power.

And what exactly do you consider Trump?

Trump Tower
Trump Hotel
Trump Casino
Trump Windery
Trump Jets
Trump Books
Trump Classic Cars
Trump Drinks
Trump Education
Trump Golf
Trump Ice
Trump Marketing
Trump Old Post Office
Trump Pageants
Trump Palace
Trump Payroll
Trump Productions
Trump Properties
Trump Restaurants
Trump World Publications

And that's not even half of them.  Thirsty for power much?

It's not that him owning a lot of varied companies makes him thirsty for power....
It's a business strategy, one that he helped pioneer actually, in which you own many companies that feed into each other.
ie; you own a hotel. You own the convention center nearby. You own the food suppliers. You own the taxis. You own the office supply company. You own the mail. You own the nearby restaurants.

By doing this, you feed all the expenses into the others. So, when your company caters, you cater from the restaurant, which got it's truck from your distribution center, with ingredients from your farm. All the workers in the area travel around in your taxis, and eat out at your restaurants. They get their mail from your company, etc.

In this way, you're never actually spending money, but funneling it all back into itself. Your employees pay you rent from the condos you own, buy cars from your dealership...etc.

It's actually a very smart way of doing business.

Look to the side.  My point was over there.  You missed it.

If you mean that his name is on everything, you could simply attribute that to branding. Egotistical branding maybe, but there are a lot of business owners who name everything after their own name.  No different than Lou from down the street owning Lou's bagels, or Oreilly and Sons construction and automotive.

Right.  Because bigotry, racism and nationalism are just jokes.   Tell that to the people and the families of those that have died because of the ignorance and hatred of bigots, racists and nationalists.   Tell those jokes to a mother who lost a son because he was gay and was dragged a mile down the road from a truck.  Tell those jokes to a family that will be divided because one has a document and the others don't.  Tell those jokes to a grieving mother and wife who both lost a son or husband to war fought for profit.  Tell those jokes to foreigners who watches in horror as bombs obliterate the city around them.

You go tell those jokes.   It's always funny until it affects you.

Don't worry, I'll be sure to save my very best jokes for only the most tragic, heart-wrenching cases out of your nameless hypothetical victims.

Clinton may not be likeable but trump and his rhetoric is simply horrifying. So people would rather vote for the devil they know rather than someone who comes across as totally scary. I can understand that.

It's a bit like if David Cameron stayed in power and went up against corbyn, people would rather go for someone like David who has at times come across as an elitist toff, rather than the crazy guy... because its safer that way. You know that things wont go *that* bad.

What IS kind of interesting to me is that I have several thousand FB people, and I know of TWO Hillary fans. TWO. Those are the only human beings in the midst (and yes, they are real people) who are on her side. There are many many more who will vote for her because they dislike Trump, but it still boggles my mind how she won the primary. A huge % of my friends are Hispanic or Asian, so maybe that skews things a bit, but the sample size honestly should be big enough to show something. That works out to around 0.5% HRC support out of my contacts list. I'd say Trump is around 5%. Bernie probably had about 20% of my friends list, and now I'm seeing at least as many Gary Johnson supporters as I do Trump supporters.

In real life I've actually YET to meet a single HRC supporter.

Anecdotes and data are often challening to seperate.

If I went by Facebook during the primaries Rand Paul should be facing Bernie Sanders right now.

If I went right now it looks like Gary Johnson will beat Jill Stein.

Of course the reality is Johnson or Stein will be lucky to crack 10% (which would be impressive) so Clinton or Trump will win the presidency despite the perception social media presents.

I should add majority of Facebook friends, myself included, don't use the platform as means to discuss politics.  The old "silent majority" you hear about that still show up on election days and vote.

Both of them are very aggressive at attacking each other. One thing Trump has right now is he can simply spam cards and counter at Hillary when it needs be while Hillary can repeat and rinse her attacks but shes making it all about Trump than making it all about her which is a double-edge sword IMO.

American elections are pretty much a combination of a clownshow, mud throwing, stand up comedy and great and not so great speeches. The person itself and it's acomplishments in life matter more than it's plan for the US itself. Problem is that Trump is more of a showman than Hillary and as long as he keeps that up, he can lie about everything and people will still eat out of his hand and vote for him. There is a reason why the political elite mainly consists out if a few families.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Hillary is so dishonest, she has been caught in lie after lie, from her emails, to being under sniper fire when video shows her calmly greeting people as she gets off the plane. Her party essentially screwed the only other viable candidate in favor of her and she acts like she didn't know? How many people volunteered for Bernie and got the shaft because they never had any chance of giving him a fair shake.

The DNC is openly anti religion the way they attacked his faith and they are incredibly racist the way they refer to their Latino supporters as Taco Bowl.

More leaked email will come destroying any crediabilty she has left. She should be in jail along with her rapist/pedophile husband who dodged prejury while General Patreus (sp?) did the same thing Hillary did with the emails on a much smaller scale and got prison time. Not to mention all the money from countries that hate and kill women and gays for such trivial things. And where does that money go, lol what a joke. It's such a corrupt system, at least Trump doesn't have a million favors to pay back if he gets elected.

Obama did nothing for blacks and minorities and the democrats will continue to keep them down and on benefits to maintain their votes, how come these black democrats never seem to improve the inner cities?

Same reason why evangelical polititians in Mississippi (most conservative state in America) have done nothing to improve that state's standing as the poorest state in America. Each side is bound to lobbiests and special interests (bowing to too many masters) that inhibit their ability to make real change.
