Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo reveals Mini NES. Coming this November.

Everytime I see products like these I personally feel its just more convenient to pirate and play rom games off emulators on a laptop and just hook it up to the TV. Just saying.  But is a nice little collectors item.

SEGA beat them to this years ago:

Nintendo behind in technology again.

Hmm, pie.

I don't want to drag this topic off rails, so we can always continue this in a dedicated thread or on my wall, but...

A product like this shows why it's unfair to pirate/steal games when a party can still make money off its intellectual property.

It isn't really that much smaller than the original. I call bullshit on the mini part.

It really is though, you wont fit a NES on the palm of your hand like that.

If you want to play your NES cartridges just buy a damn NES, they are easy to get.

Why must people always complain...

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

SEGA have something very similar to this for the Mega Drive, it's great.

I predict this will also be great.

I agree and you have a point.

But if anything, a product like this should've been released long ago when roms were big coming out way back where now it seems somewhat pointless.

This be the first home console I get from Nintendo since the SNES. Good price, too. I hope if this is successful, they'll do like Sega and come out with one with 80 games that supports cartridges. Then maybe a SNES one. Oooo, and N64 with Mario 64. Now, that would be awesome.

A) can you download more games?
B) is it connected to the nintendo account so the games i already bought can be played here?

I really don't think this thing have internet connection.

It seems Nintendo has found a new target market.
