Cool news. Now people like me with a mid-range computer can play Xbox games on XOne and those with a high-end PC can play Xbox games on their rig.

With this newfound focus on software over hardware, I hope Microsoft starts to recruit more talent and, in general, produce better software.

I thought your entire post history was context enough. If I were to post "Ratchet & Clank sucks" I would expect people to get the joke too, without anymore context than that xD

I mean I guess that works for long time people that know you, but if it's someone new, you can't expect them to know you were joking. 

However, I thougt the people that responded the way they did, kinda knew me. Guess not. *cries in corner*

I posted about the whole crossplay of Mouse and keyboard vs gamepad in the RoX thread a bit back, but i'm certain there was a an article somewhere and I think it was Phil actually who said we wouldn't force Xbox owners to play vs mouse and keyboard users in competative multiplayer but I can't seem to find it, I was searching for it myself as I was trying to find out if I could grab Gears 4 on PC and play with a Xbox One controller in a party with my friends on Xbox One.

Anyone else remember this article or am I dreaming it up?

That is a huge step from Microsoft!
Only future will tell if it is a good or bad decision from Microsoft though.

I doubt we will see crossplay PvP for shooters. But for some some genres it doesent matter much.

If some people feel they are getting screwed by paying for XBL, moving to Windows 10 is something they will have to consider. Either way they stay in MS products.

Looking forward its seeming like the best option is to go PC+Nintendo console for me at least and I think I'm just going to sell my PS4+X1 and buy a GTX 1070 or something with the £££, PC getting MS titles along with more JRPG's than PS4 these days and they have all the strategy games I love as exclusives :)
