It's the right thing to do... you should show them that it isn't acceptable to deliver 40 of content for the 4 you expent.

That's because they aren't wrong. You just can't see it cause you are that calous with your money and the future of the market. It's ok, because its human nature to only care about one self.
I don't really care about your NX remark. Im not even getting the NX so... i guess atempt at humor failed? But if it does, i will be as against it as i am with Xbox and playstation.

What exactly is your point? You say that people are being duped because they find value in a service. Now I presume that you're are trying to say that people that support PS+ is spoiling it for people that don't want to pay for online? Would I be correct to presume that?
First up you are arguing 2 different point and secondly if people thought like you things would never progress. I'm willing to pay for a superior online service and not be stuck with something that Nintendo fans have. This isn't a pop at Nintendo but it's fact that Sony and MS offer a far better service on the networking side of things and guess why? Money being pumped into it which they can't do without subs.

On Plasma and LCD monitor I paid cheap because others before me paid premium so it could develop and drop in price... on 4K I paid very high so in a few years it will probably be a lot cheaper because it hit stream... it's normal for early adopters to get a little burned while helping the technology improve... there are options to it, just waiting, you don't need to complain that something is expensive, you wait until it's affordable to you.

I don't like it, but seems like 17-18M people were ok with it, so he is complain only because he can't play without paying and is assuming that the other 19M that haven't signed are the same (while a lot of them could be multi console or shared acc owners).

That is the gullable pov. There is no service there that is worth a monthly fee. People pay it to have acess. They are gullable for doing so. It's a service that is super cheap to mantain. It only incurs in losses for the company if you are a hardcore online player. There is a big difference and many seem gullable enough to not see it. Hardcore online players should pay a fee. Casuals shouldn't. It's bad for themselves, for the health of online games for there to be a paywall and for future business practices. Those paying are beeing duped and making it worse for everyone. Unlike companies like Microsoft, Apple, steam(?) Sony haven't been very financially stable the last few years and as a business absolutely needed to charge online. It's a key component in them returning to profits.
Let the consumer decide if it's worth it, but 21m already have so I'd say it is. There's still a few decent games you don't need to pay to play online so you're not completely in the dark

It's still amazing to me how some of you can't have this conversation without trying to label me as something or trying to make it sound personal. I don't play online on my consoles, even if they have free online play. I don't enjoy any of the online experiences on consoles bar mmo's, but those are on the PC with free online, wich is where i play them.
So, can you try this again without trying to say that i am someone who is very perturbed that he himself doesn't have free online when he does? Perhaps the one/s with a bias isn't me?
It is because it's a scheme and in fact not worth beeing a payed service that i say people are beeing duped. They are duped to think it may have value when it doesn't when you are a casual gamer, wich is the majority. So, yes, i would like to see a fairer system in place and for people to actually see the real worth of what they are paying for.
Shoot me for wanting better things. That is why i say for some it is too late because they are too deep into cognitive dissonance to bother see it.

Sounds like you were the one getting personal with you condescending tone and your "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude. Saying that people are being duped and gullible, you didn't come into this with an open mind, you have got your opinion and your blinkers on.
If you're are a casual gamer that doesn't like free games on a monthly basis or discounts then the chances are you don't play online. Where do we even stop with this? Say if you bought a PS4 just to play FIFA, did Sony dupe you into buying the hardware? I mean casual gamers should get a discount right? What about Netflix? Monthly sub is the cost of one DVD, I watch 10 films on Netflix but only watch that DVD once, who is being duped here? Remember "there is no service that is worth a monthly fee".

I don't pay for online, my PS+ is for free games that I share with my brother (who uses my acc and at least like MP online).
You don't use the service and is complaining just because without using you think it's bad? Silly don't you think.
And More than Half the users buy the service (and with sharing perhaps 80% of the users are playing online) but you say they are all being duped. So you are assuming you are smarter than most people and all the people in this thread and forum that pays for the service? Sorry, I didn't know I was talking to Einstein'cus my IQ is quite high and you assume I'm duped in choosing what to do with my money.
