That soundtrack leading up to the explosion made the episode for me. It was fucking brilliant.

Lady Mormont is hands down the best new character this season. Shes so awesome and adorable.

It was good, but not great IMHO.

The revenge on the Frey house deserved a lot of time. It was resolved in like 2 minutes.

But I gotta admit my eyes got misty when those Stark banners fell over the Winter fell walls again :)

I still think Battle of the Bastards was a much better episode, probably the best episode of television I have ever seen. I guess its normal for that episode to be great though. The penultimate episode? Or maybe that term only applies to series finales and not season.

It also seemed like the people blown to bits could have left building if they really wanted.

But it sets up a fucking great last 13 episodes. Dany and her dragons vs Queen Cersei.

It's bullshit. The show feels like fanfiction at this point. The quality of this show has taken a drastic dip the past two seasons imo. Dorne, Riverlands, Meereen, and Kingsmoot all done terribly. The battle for Meereen was supposed to be incredible. No Victarion? BS.
