A brand new Layton title will be revealed at Level-5 Vision 2016. It’s not Layton 7 which we saw a couple of years ago. Instead, it’ll be a true, proper entry in the series. It will also have a new protagonist, and it’s not Layton’s son Alfendi. The Japanese voice cast list will be full of all-stars from movies.

how can it be a new Layton game and no Layton in it?

God, I really hope that is true.And it would be best if it happens after the events of Unwound future, but at the same time I hope Layton, Luke and the others arent just scrapped, and that they appear in the game.

Yassssss!! I still haven't played the last game in the series (Civilization Something) But im glad L5 isn't dropping this franchise which I found VERY unique in today's gaming. Hopefully its on the 3DS, better a console debut?

Is it for 3DS though....? That would be cool, but after Layton 7 and their focus on mobile, I still have my doubts.
