Zelda U/NX + Pikmin 4 and another surprise would be enough for me to get the NX day one, even with Wii U's track record.
Would love a Pikmin 1/2/3 collection.
Not even joking or trolling here, it could be a mobile or 3DS game.

I dont think so. Nintendo said they tried to make Pikmin 3 for the 3DS, but it didnt work out. Also I doubt the game would be called Pikmin 4 if it wasnt on a console.

Pikmen is not a franchise to sell consoles. Pikmen 3 on wii u just prooved that. I highly doubt it would have an significant impact. Its not like people wont get the nx JUST because they can play pikmen 4 also on the wii u, thats mainly for persons who wont buy the nx in its first year. Look at how great games like destiny, watch dogs and co did on the ps3, even with a ps4 version co existing. It it doesnt hurt the ps4 at all. |
Oh well by your logic every game not named Mario should be multiplatform between NX and Wii U!
Seriously though, it improves the overall library, which is what people buy consoles for. That's not worth sacrificing for some extra sales on a dead console, the key difference between Wii U and PS3. All this is also assuming they didn't update the game to take advantage of the NX hardware like they did for Pikmin 3 (originally a Wii game), but after all this time they probably did.

It's not officially called Pikmin 4, that's just what we're calling it for now since it's the fourth game and the previous two games went by numbers aswell.

Was expecting some PR comments or something. Quite disappointed.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
Not a confirmation mate, although Pikmin 4 is likely to be on NX.
