And they would be right, SFV is one of the best fighting game currently.

I'm not getting into that debate, but you know what I mean, you ask them if so and so game is good, and they will generally say yes.

Why ? a game bought is a game bought, regardless of whether it's SFV or another. It's better to give a good advice if you want your customer to come back.

Hmm, see honestly I would like to think that, and the game store I go to is honest, but I been to gamestop and ebgames multiple times, and they have pushed the newest release on me, pretty much everytime and I remember when they were pushing this game...cannot remember but it was bad and for xbox360. I felt bad for the many customers that bought it. (I think at the time, they had huge inventory of said game, I just cannot remember the title).

Steam also has an open return policy, who knows how many copies were returned because of connection issues or the lack of content.

I think we're missing the obvious here: Fighting games on PC just don't have a big following outside of emulators. Part of it is control options - but the other is the price point / value proposition of a fighting game vs. what PC gamers tend to go for.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Sales of the PC version are trash due to Capcom censoring Mika's butt slap because of Nintendo, and It seems that, unlike PS4 owners, PC gamers aren't all talk when tits and asses are involved.

Perhaps word got around more-so. When I saw reviews on steam, most of them were negative, telling others to pass on it and wait for more content. That's my thought at least.

Surprised PC sales are so low since you have been able to buy it for about $25-35 on sites like G2A and CDKeys since launch pretty much.

Either way, they deserve the low sales for their shitty launch and exclusive deal.

Japanese centric game sells better on console than on PC? It's hardly the first time...

Yes, but PC is becoming viable outlet for Japanese games. I think two factors are in play. 1. It is SFV, and honestly don't know if fighting games really translate perfectly at times to the PC. 2. SFV wasn't the most well recieved product, generally PC gamers get to see that infront of there face when making purchase decisions.

It is a viable outlet, but the only real success stories are older games that release at a low price point. It'll be a while before there's a real competition with PC and the other platforms for Japanese games.

Street Fighter has been a massively popular game in the US for over two decades.

To be honest... Capcom announced shipped numbers not sold numbers. So you are assuming much on the PS4 front aswell.
