I am not talking about prediction threads, that is not the same.

I mean seriously. People are make threads about what they think the NX will be like and what Sony and Microsoft might show at E3.

Do you do this to say "look I said it and Walla it happened" , or are you just bored and thought let me start a thread so I have something to do.

Can't people just be patient and wait for the actual announcement.

Like seriously, the days are gone when it was cool to post speculation threads, the gaming industry is changing, people should change with the times or am I just getting older and see that it's pointless.

Just wait for the actual announcement. The Nintendo NX threads really get me with people speculating will it be a console, a handheld or a hybrid or this or that. 

Just be patient and wait for the actual announcement I say.

Because, just like in real life/in person social interaction it can be fun to speculate on things that you are passionate about.

Forums are just a means to communicate with other people about shared interests. What better place to speculate about something huge happening than in a place where most people share your interest, especially if you don't have many friends that share that particular interest.

same reason you made this thread. To get attention to there thoughts, usually out of a false sense of importance that makes them believe those thoughts need to be shared.

They don't know anything about the product that will be announced, just vague details. So they want to consult other people's opinions so they can build a possible idea of how the product will be, like a console, for example. Sure, there is a lot of threads, but it shows interest on the product. They want it to succeed.

Because it provokes discussion and debate and people like discussing their passions. And most of us that use this site are passionate about our favourite games. I know i am, I am literally counting down the days untill the 14th of june when we will finally find out some more information about the new zelda game.

Sooooooooo what you are saying is people shouldn't discuss their thoughts on things or talk about them until they are out there......okay if you say so.....and what does it being cool have to do with anything lol. People have been speculating on things since the beginning of time about well.....everything. So you feel they should stop because you don't think it is cool anymore?
