It is indeed. The vast majority of games release on a Friday. You said the previous record was A Crack in Time, right? Well guess what, that also released on a Friday so it's a fair comparison.

Yet people still continue to use the stupid 2 days thing as an excuse when something sells poorly...

 

Haha lol yeah! It also doesn't help if the users who does it has a "reputation" here.........

It had it's regular price cut to £19.99 on Amazon so that along with Force Awakens on DVD probably provided the boost. Also became part of the bundles at my local GAME so probably in others also. When GAME changed there bundles the games really do take a massive boost in the charts and its still the go-to retailer for the majority.
