Those damn casuals making McDonalds the nr 1 restaurant and Michael Bay movies and American Idol the nr 1 entertainment. Quality stuff will still be made.

Filthy casuals

Well you have casuals and you have simple minded casuals. I think we're talking about the latter here.

Yes mobile has taken over the world and it will only get stronger. There's still a market for everything else of course but mobile is king. It's really trumped the pc industry and in more then just gaming. Like a lot of people nowadays don't want to buy a pc. Between laptops, desktops, tablets and smart phones, they're covered. The market is changing.

They can always claim revenue but until one makes a billion in 3 or 800 million in one day we can still say when it really matters, we reign supreme..

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Great. Hoping to see more games on Google play store and Apple store.

People complaining are at least guilty of 1 of the following:

Paying to play online
Games with the real content being spared for DLCs and expansions
Buggy games with day one patches and beyond
Annual releases with incremental improvements if any
Games with promised future content (buy the game now and we'll give you the rest of it for free later, we promise!)

So please, spare us the wisdom. Just few days ago Miitomo was being hailed and championed. What changed now?

I am guilty of none of those things you listed. Can I complain?

I, for one, welcome our new Mobile overlords

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Fire away!

Most of this money is generated in none first world countries and Japan. Consoles are still way ahead in the first world. So dont believe this mobile Propaganda from western sources, if it would be chinese site telling it they would have some bases.

Still better than paying for microtransactions

Well I mean most of the mobile "gamers" are 40 year old women and teenage girls :P

Exactly.

I'm trying to figure out why anyone cares. So what if casual mobile games make more money? McDonald's makes more money than a fine dining restaurant. But, I'd still go to the restaurant 10 times out of 10.
